NCC Wins Deloitte Best Managed Company Award and
“The Commitment to Learning” Award for 2014
National Chemical Company (NCC) is delighted to announce that it has been selected as one of the winners in the “Deloitte Best Managed Companies” awards for 2014. NCC also received special category award for their “Commitment to Learning” sponsored by IMI. The winners were announced at the annual awards ceremony which took place at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Dublin on Friday 7th March 2014.
The Best Managed Companies Awards, in association with Barclays, recognise indigenous Irish companies across the island of Ireland which are operating at the highest levels of business performance.
The companies short-listed for 2014 represented a variety of industries including manufacturing, technology and media, financial services, energy and resources, consumer business, life sciences, healthcare, and hospitality amongst others.
The Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards programme is unique in that it recognises the efforts of the entire organisation, not just one individual.
NCC came through an in-depth review by the judging panel. It measured company performance by looking at a broad range of criteria including strategy, capability, commitment, financials and management performance across all key functions of the business.
Commenting on the announcement of the National Chemical Company’s award, Alan Looney CEO said “This is fitting recognition of the commitment of our staff and management and their successful implementation of our growth strategy over the past three years. The special award is reflective of our learning ethos and quest to find new solutions for our customers. NCC operates a joint venture cleanroom manufacturing facility Innovative Polymer Compounds (IPC) in Kilbeggan, County Westmeath.
